Dear pilots,
For an ongoing simplification of GPS-Triangle rules and to have possibilities for further automatic processing of results, we are going to test new rules at the next competition in Hofhegnenberg. The result of testing will tell us, if the landing evaluation we had so far is really necessary for this kind of competition. We believe that without the pressure for landing points, the stress for pilots will be lower and therefore landings will be saver.
For the test following rules will be applied:
- Landing direction set by the competition director must be followed
- Final approach must be from behind the beginning of the airfield/runway. If the airfield is too wide the beginning of the runway is marked with a line.
- Models must be landed (touch down) with their main landing gear on the runway of the airfield.
- The runway is lateral limited by the pilot box, the opposite side is the restriction of the airfield.
- A lateral approach of the runway results in 0 points for the round.
- After touch down it is allowed to roll out straight – or left and right of the runway after the pilots box has been passed.
- A landing outside the airfield area results in 0 points for the round.
Liebe Piloten,
für die weitere Vereinfachung der GPS-Triangle-Regeln und für die weitere Möglichkeit der Automatisierung der Ergebnisse, wollen wir im kommenden Wettbewerb testen, ob wir die Landewertung in Zukunft weglassen können. Wir glauben, dass wir ohne Punktedruck die Landungen sicherer machen können. Dennoch sollte weiterhin die Sicherheit an erster Stelle stehen.
Folgende Regeln gelten im Testbetrieb für die Landung:
- Flugzeuge müssen die vom Flugleiter angegebene Landerichtung einhalten.
- Flugzeuge müssen von hinten die Grundlinie des Flugplatzes überfliegen. Die Grundlinie ist entweder der Flugplatz, oder wird durch eine Linie markiert.
- Flugzeuge müssen mit dem Hauptfahrwerk auf der Landebahn des Flugplatzes aufsetzen.
- Die Landebahn wird seitlich durch eine Linie von der Pilotenbox, sowie auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite durch die Begrenzung der Landebahn markiert.
- Das seitliche Einfliegen wird mit 0 Punkten für den Durchgang bewertet.
- Das Flugzeug darf nach der Pilotenbox nach links oder rechts, oder auch in der Verlängerung, ausrollen.
- Eine Außenlandung wird mit 0 Punkten für den Durchgang bewertet.
